The Mamelles Zoological Park in the heart of the Antilles

The Parc des Mamelles is located on theÎle de Basse-Terre, in the Commune of Bouillante, on the western part of the Guadeloupe archipelago. This zoological and botanical park extends over 4 hectares of tropical forest in the heart of Guadeloupe National Park. This magnificent animal park is home to all the fauna and flora of the Antilles and part of Guyana. The Mamelles Park is one of the essential activities during your stay in Guadeloupe.

A family zoological park

The Mamelles Park, is a great playground for Animals of the Antilles and Guyana. It houses an animal care center and works to protect rare and endangered species. The tour follows marked trails and is designed for your comfort.

A walk through the canopy of the suspension bridge, 30 meters away, offers you another vision of the local flora and the animals that inhabit it. A walk that will please the whole family. Children even have the chance to see Kaz to Tarzan, the secret canopy. They will be able to travel through multiple footbridges, slides, tunnels and secret passages. A fun visit from which they will return with stars in their eyes.

An exceptional fauna in the Parc des Mamelles

The Mamelles Zoo can be visited in about two hours. Two hours with the possibility of seeing a total of 450 species of animals, including the Caribbean symbol, the racoon (small raccoon).
