Today, we invite you to discover two local artists who will delight your ears by the pool at our hotel...

Lycinaïs Jean

LYCINAÏS JEAN

The rising star of variety-pop

First drum lessons at 8 years old, first guitar at 10, first compositions at 11... very young, Lycinaïs moved from one instrument to another with disconcerting ease. As a teenager, she joined her sponsor's amateur band as a guitarist. They perform the great classics of Zouk and French variety on various Caribbean stages. She left the band to devote herself to composing and learning music software. Spotted by fans and renowned artists on the internet, she quickly recorded her first single “Aimer” in 2014. It is a real success. Little by little, she distanced herself from the codes of zouk to indulge in pop sounds today. Currently on tour, she is considering a second album.

Krys

KRYS

The mainstay of reggae-dancehall

Born in Abymes, young Krys grew up in a working-class neighborhood where urban arts were omnipresent: hip-hop, graffiti, dance... In the early 2000s, Jamaican musical influence led him to write his first texts. He met a DJ and joined the band Black Micky at the age of 15. They perform together on local stages in the Dancehall Underground. Fascinated by rap, writing and creative expression, he puts a lot of energy into his compositions. He signed alone with a record label at the age of 21 and went to number 1 in sales in the Antilles. At the same time, he continued his business studies in Montpellier and finished high school, then founded his own Label Step Out Productions in 2008 and produced himself. His art is free, without constraints and his texts are in his image. Her next album is in progress.
