THE PRIVILEGE OF A PRIVATE EXPEDITION IN THE OPEN SEA
Become the captain of your own adventure and set sail for an exceptional nature reserve for a day of total autonomy in the heart of the iguana sanctuary.
Discover the islets of Petite-Terre in complete freedom by renting your own boat without a skipper, the ultimate solution for sailors looking for privacy and exclusivity. To perfectly meet the size of your group, we offer a fleet of three high-performance and secure category B semi-rigid boats that can accommodate 8, 11 or 14 passengers respectively. Located about 10 nautical miles from the Saint-François marina, this crossing to the open sea will take you about 45 minutes on the way out to reach this preserved paradise, and 30 minutes on the way back, carried by the swell. Please note that a boating license is mandatory to take control of these prestigious units.
Once you reach your destination, the Petite-Terre lagoon becomes your private playground. By anchoring in the turquoise waters, you can enjoy the magnificent seabed in complete freedom: equipped with your masks and snorkels, set off to meet the turtles, rays and lemon sharks that populate these protected coral gardens. On land, the show continues during a stroll to the lighthouse where you will meet the many endemic iguanas, true guardians of this wild site. Without the constraints of an imposed itinerary, you organize your day according to your desires to swim or explore.
