Immerse yourself in the heart of the Guadeloupian soul with a rhythmic introduction to Gwoka, a UNESCO intangible heritage site.
Come and discover and learn about Gwoka dance, a unique sensory experience to the sound of the traditional drum called “Ka”. A true pillar of Caribbean culture, this dance is an authentic expression of the history and fervour of the archipelago.
Whether you think you already have the rhythm of zouk in your skin or you are a perfect beginner, this course is open to everyone. Our passionate teacher will introduce you to the basics of this “sun dance” with pedagogy, by transmitting to you the energy and gestures specific to this ancestral style.
