ECOTOURISM IMMERSION IN A NATURE RESERVE
Explore the treasures of the largest lagoon in the Lesser Antilles, between mysterious marine forest, underwater remains and white sand banks.
Embark on a motorboat expedition to discover the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, a protected area with exceptional biodiversity. Your adventure begins by going up the Rivière Salée, this natural stretch of sea separating Basse-Terre from Grande-Terre, for immersive navigation in the heart of the largest mangrove in the Caribbean. This ecological sanctuary is a truly magical place where mangroves with intertwined roots form a fascinating and protective aquatic forest.
The excursion continues to emblematic sites of the lagoon for a stopover that is both historic and aquatic. You will explore the remains of an underwater shipwreck located on the edge of the water, which over time has become an artificial reef where a multitude of tropical fish thrive. Finally, you will set sail for Caret Island, a small mythical white sand bank lost in the middle of a lagoon with shades of turquoise blue, offering an unforgettable postcard setting.
