Do you want a friendly and fun family activity?
Opened in 1987, the Guadeloupe Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the Caribbean. He will welcome you for a visit focused on the richness of the Guadeloupe seabed.

During your visit, you will be able to discover the varied marine species of the region, with explanations available.
If you plan your visit in advance, don't hesitate to come around 4pm, when the teams feed the sleeper sharks, which is sure to impress children of all ages!
The protection of the environment is a key subject today, and in addition to information on the fragile functioning of the seabed, the aquarium regularly hosts sea turtles and other injured species that they release once they regain their health.

The aquarium also hosts and finances three associations:
THEIGREC sea, which works to restore marine ecosystems through various actions, including the care of sea turtles.

The association Blue backgrounds which brings together and sponsors actions for the protection of the environment.

And finally L'école de la mer, which is responsible for educating and raising children's awareness about the marine environment, and in particular organizing one-week courses during the holidays punctuated by workshops, games and sea trips.
